Sanket

FPV camera and video transmitter. Sanket means “signal”.

The airborne half of the SPATICS video link: a finned transmitter, two radome antennas and a single-lens camera.

Sanket is the airborne half of the SPATICS video link: a square finned aluminium transmitter with two radome antennas, a slim coaxial cable to a single-lens camera and a USB-C service port. It fits inside the airframe and sends a low-latency pilot view to Netra goggles or the Kendra ground station.

Where it fits.

  • Pilot view on Shadanga and Uddan, independent of the mission payload.
  • Stand-alone digital FPV kit for training and demonstration aircraft.
  • On-board recording of every flight from the camera sensor itself.

Works with.

  • Display: Netra goggles, with the Kendra ground station as a second receiver.
  • Airframe: a keyed power and data socket on the transmitter, shared with the SPATICS connector family, and USB-C for firmware and file transfer.
  • Control: flight-controller UART for OSD and channel data.

Key features.

  • Compact transmitter

One rounded casting with 36 fins pocketed into the top deck, four drilled mounting bores with spotfaces and a near-flush central panel.

  • Single-lens camera

Layered curved optics with a green coating and a recessed pupil. The cable exits at the rear through a strain relief, with no body-mounted socket.

  • Three continuous cables

One coax to the camera and two antenna leads to round radomes with gold coax fittings.

  • Front connectors

Recessed USB-C for firmware and playback, an ivory keyed power and data socket and a flat camera-cable retainer.

  • Two status indicators

Lit, with orange locator marks for orientation.

All figures are indicative targets, subject to validation; range and output power are limited by Indian WPC rules for the 5.8 GHz band, and 4K recording depends on the final encoder.

Sanket is concept hardware in development and is not offered for sale. Export may be subject to Indian SCOMET controls.

Design and materials.

Satin black anodised transmitter with a brushed finish, fine matte charcoal camera and radome housings, dark elastomer cable jackets, gold contacts and a stainless USB-C shield.
