Custom boards from the team behind the avionics.
When the board you need does not exist, or exists only as an import, we design it: battery management systems, flight controllers and application-specific PCBs, delivered as production files and working prototypes.
What we design
Battery management systems
Cell monitoring, balancing, protection and telemetry for multi-cell packs, sized for the airframe and the mission.
- Cell count and chemistry to your pack
- Over-current, over- and under-voltage and temperature protection
- CAN or UART telemetry to the flight controller
- Charger and pre-charge integration
Flight controllers
Controller boards built around the sensors, radios and interfaces your aircraft carries, from the same electronics lineage as the avionics suite.
- IMU, barometer and GNSS integration
- Motor-controller and payload interfaces
- Redundancy and watchdog design
- Firmware bring-up support
Custom PCBs
Sensor boards, power stages, interface adapters, gimbal and payload electronics: any board missing between your requirement and a flying system.
- Schematic capture, with simulation where needed
- Layout for EMI, thermal and mechanical fit
- DFM review with your fabricator
- Prototype builds and test
Four steps, each one signed off.
Requirement
A short call and a written requirement: what the board does, where it lives, what it connects to and what it must survive.
Schematic
Block diagram, part selection with domestic sourcing in mind, and a reviewed schematic you sign off before layout.
Layout and files
PCB layout, bill of materials, Gerber or ODB++ outputs, assembly drawings and DFM notes, all in standard formats.
Prototype
Built and tested units, bring-up support, and revisions folded back into the files for production.
B2B and B2G, not B2C.
We work for OEMs building aircraft, integrators assembling systems, and government and defence programmes with domestic-content requirements. Each engagement is a fixed statement of work with milestones, under NDA and programme security requirements where needed.
What you receive.
- Schematics in KiCad or your preferred EDA format.
- PCB layout and fabrication outputs.
- Bill of materials with alternates and sourcing notes.
- Test procedure and bring-up report.
- Prototype units, when in scope.
Tell us about the board.
A rough description is enough to start. We reply with questions and an outline scope within two working days.
